This meeting will be an informal discussion among Aviation Noise Officers and Aviation Emissions Officers where we will review the effects and processes of addressing aircraft noise as we emerge from a pandemic environment, and in the midst of air traffic recovery.

Perspectives on Overflight Concentration and Aviation Law 

Monday, May 1st, 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM, Hybrid Format

This meeting for community grassroots organizers provides an opportunity to engage with experts on: the opportunities and challenges to address overflight concentration and aviation industry law. Dr. Stavros Sidiropoulos and Jim Allerdice of Vianair will start with PBN Procedures to create track variability (see previous ANE presentation in 2021 - Dispersion in the Era of RNAV) and the potential benefits of Time Based Flow Management (TBFM) for reducing noise impacts. Barbara Lichman will follow by sharing legal perspectives on legislation, aircraft noise regulatory policy, and litigation. Join us for an informative session with interactive audience Q&A.
